To register at the polling place on election day, you must have authorized proof of residence:

• A valid Minnesota Driver's License, Learner's Permit, Minnesota Identification card, or receipt for any of these with current name and address located in precinct
• A voter registered in the same precinct as you who can confirm your address with a signed oath
• A valid registration in the same precinct under a different name or address 
•  A notice of late registration sent to you by the county auditor
• A Tribal ID card that contains the name, address, signature, and picture of the individual
• A valid student ID card including a photo, if your college has provided a student housing list to election officials
• An employee of a residential facility where you live who can confirm your address with a signed oath

Voters may register with an alternative proof of residence using a combination of one approved photo ID (from column 1) and one approved utility bill (from column 2), listed below.
