The Parks division of the Parks and Recreation Board is responsible for the maintenance of nearly 1000 acres of parkland and 35 miles of trail. The park system includes parks with playgrounds, athletic fields and tennis courts for active play. Visitors can also enjoy the wonders of nature on the trails along the lakes and through the forested areas of the City.

Park Hints
- Dogs are allowed on park trails only. Owners must keep the dog under restraint and carry a means to pick up.
- Picnic Pavilion Reservations are available for private rental.
- Status of Outdoor Skating Rinks is updated during the season by calling 763-494-5959.
- Boat Launching Access is available on Fish Lake, Eagle Lake and Weaver Lake.
- In addition to the local parks and trail system in Maple Grove there is over 1,800 acres of parkland owned and operated by Three Rivers Park District, formerly Hennepin Parks.
