All positions require a City of Maple Grove application form.  Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on the posting deadline date.

How to complete a job application:

1. Online application - Read the instructions to complete the online applications for each type of job: City or Police Officer or Firefighter. Please use the drop down tab to accurately apply for the position you need at the top of the online application.
2. Print application to complete -City (56K) or Police Officer (143K) or Firefighter (138K) 
3. Mail application - call the 24-hour Job Line at 763-494-5995 to have an application mailed to you

Be sure to:

• Complete application in its entirety to prevent disqualification
• Mail, fax, email or drop off application and resume (optional) to Human Resources by the deadline
• If faxed, mail original paper copy to Human Resources

Please note:

• We do not accept applications if there are no job openings.
• You must apply for a specific job vacancy.
• We will respond to each application a few weeks after the application deadline to let you know your status for an interview.

Current job openings

The Human Resources Department cannot be responsible for failure of other agencies, postal services or internet providers to forward application by the published deadline. Please include in your application packet copies of any licenses or certification that you have already obtained. Candidates selected as finalists will be required to provide transcripts to verify education credentials. Some positions may require criminal background checks, physicals, drug screens, driving record investigations, reference checks, etc.
