Mayor and City Council

Mark Steffenson is the current Mayor and has served since June 2001.  Councilmembers are: LeAnn Sargent, Karen Jaeger, Phil Leith and Erik Johnson.  Maple Grove is a community legally established under the laws of Minnesota.  It is governed by a Mayor who serves a four-year term and four Councilmembers who also serve four-year terms.  City Councilmembers serve at large.  City elections coincide with the general elections held in the fall of all even numbered years.
