| Lake Quality Commission |
|
The Lake Quality Commission was established by the City Council in 1986. Seven of the 12 members are chosen to represent areas near the city's lakes with the remaining five members representing the community at-large. The City Council appoints the members of the Commission for three-year terms.
Maple Grove lakes have attracted a substantial amount of residential development and the water amenity serves as a focal point for the local and regional parks and trail systems. The Lake Quality Commission is concerned with activities on and near the water. For detailed information you may want to view our lakes and water quality pages.
