Maintenance:

• Gravel roads are routinely graded to minimize rutting, washouts, and frost boils. Frost conditions may prevent road grading in early spring. 
• Grading is most effective following a moderate rainfall. 
• The City of Maple Grove grades and shapes gravel roads late spring and coordinates application of magnesium chloride to lessen dust conditions in dry weather.
