| Police Explorer Program (Post 775) |
|
This program provides opportunities for youth to explore law enforcement careers, the criminal justice system, and to promote character development and citizenship training. Police Exploring is a division of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women aged 14 through 20. There are more than 33,000 young men and women across the nation participating in posts organized by local law enforcement agencies.
Explorers participate in weekly meetings and many community and police department events. At the Minnesota Law Enforcement Explorer Conference each April, explorers have the opportunity to compete against and demonstrate their proficiency in events such as:
- crime scene search
- domestic crisis intervention
- traffic accident investigation
- bomb scene search and
- emergency first aid
To join the Explorer program, contact an Explorer Advisor.
