The Maple Grove Fire-Rescue Department provides an extensive fire prevention education program in the community. The deputy fire marshal and members of the fire department work together on the programs. Standardized fire safety programs are conducted each year in 10 elementary schools for grades K, 1, 4, and 5 and for grade 7 at the junior high.

Poster Contest

Each year the 4th grade classes hold a fire safety poster contest. 

Programs

Special programs such as fire extinguisher training and fire drills are conducted for private and commercial day care providers, senior citizens, and area businesses.
